The Strawberry full moon has passed and the Equinox is tomorrow, how time flies. Since my last post I have done a few things. Our 10 women Art Tribe had a retreat at Rock Point School. We are working on our next show and came up with the details as well as played with various techniques that each member brought.

The Penny Cluse show in Burlington,Vt is still up. The theme “Inside”. 120 artists were given a

6” x 6” block to work with. Can you spot mine?

I participated in a Ephemeral Nature Art Experience ( Andy Goldsworthy style) on the bike path next to Perkins Pier. The group was small but the fun was large.

I am a volunteer for Healing Winds, a sailing reprieve for people with Cancer. We had a fundraiser and I of course took part in the photo costume booth.

I just got my first boat!! Ok, so it’s a kayak, but I love it! We have been exploring areas one normally can’t go because of the flooding this year. And it continues to rain.

Back in Vermont 2019

Hello Everyone,

I am back in Vermont for the summer/fall as I have been doing for the past 15 years. I did spend 2 years in Thailand teaching English. I wanted to immerse myself in the Asian culture and learn traditional sculpting from the masters there while earning some money!

Now I am working on many projects. I am teaching 2 workshops : Spirit Totem Figures this summer (August 3rd at Vtbtyogafest) and September 8th at Horsfords Garden and Nursery from 9am-2pm), I am co-facilitating an open Plein air painting workshop (Oakledge Park on June 27th from 5-7pm), and having a few shows (Penny Cluse on June 6 from 6-8pm) and some more I will update you on.

Spring is bringing inspiration as well as a 2 day Artist Retreat I participated at Rock Point recently.
